Georgia hosted 4th European Junior Olympiad in Informatics. The Olympiad was held online during September 2-6, with the guidance of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. A record number of representatives from 27 countries took part in the Olympiad.
Technical and infrastructural support of the Olympiad was provided by the International Black Sea University and Georgian Research and Educational Networking Association GRENA. Association GRENA provided cloud infrastructure for the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics.
The winning teams of the Olympiad were revealed - the winners of gold, silver and bronze medals were named. Luka Mosiashvili was awarded a gold medal, Ioseb Rigvava a silver medal and Keta Tsimakuridze and Luka Meladze were awarded with bronze medals. It should be noted that Luka Mosiashvili was named among the 4 strongest students in Europe.
The European Junior Olympiad in Informatics is an important international event aimed at the development of information technology in the member states of the Council of Europe.
