On June 4-6 EuroDIG 2018 – “The Pan-European dialogue on Internet governance” was held in Tbilisi. This is the first time that the forum is held in the Eastern Partnership country. The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable development of Georgia hosted the forum.
Within the framework of the dialogue, there were discussed all the issues related to the Internet management and development of digital economy, such as: copyright protection, cyber security, data protection regulations (GDPR), development of telecommunication infrastructure, domains, innovations and other issues related to the Internet.
More than 500 guests attended the event; including the participants from European countries and European Structures. Ramaz Kvatadze, David Tabatadze and Iza Advadze participated in the forum from Association GRENA. Ramaz Kvatadze was a moderator of the session – Universal acceptance – in the Internet reaching the people it needs to, and David Tabatadze was a key participant in session – DNS quo vadis – addressing challenges and future functionality of the DNS.
