Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the High Energy Physics Institute of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University
https://www.tsu.ge/ and the Georgian Research and Educational Networking Association GRENA. According to the memorandum GRENA in its cloud infrastructure
https://www.gcloud.ge/ will provide High Energy Physics Institute the following resources: 12 core, 64 GB RAM, 10 TB Storage and IT support. Provided resources will be used by the institute for scientific research performed in the framework of the KM3NET NEUTRINO TELESCOPE IN THE MEDITERRANEAN project
https://www.km3net.org/. 57 institutes from 18 countries are participating in the project with main objective to obtain new information regarding the structure of Universe.
The memorandum was signed by Mikheil Nioradze Director of the High Energy Physics Institute of Tbilisi State University and by Ramaz Kvatadze the Executive Director of Georgian Research and Educational Networking Association GRENA.
Establishment of GRENA cloud infrastructure was co-funded by the European Commission in the framework of the EaPConnect project.
